Community upload terms
If you publish a button set here, this is what you are agreeing to.
What you are confirming when you upload
- The set is yours to share, or you have the right to share it.
- It contains no credentials, no keys, no customer names and nothing else confidential. Check the file — it is plain JSON and takes a minute to read.
- It is not written to damage anyone's equipment, and it does not try to disguise what it does.
- You accept that everything in it becomes public: every command, every comment, every button name.
Licensing what you upload
You pick a licence at upload time. MIT is the default. Whichever you pick, you grant us the non-exclusive right to host, display and distribute the file so the site can work — the licence you choose is what governs everyone else's use of it.
You keep ownership. Deleting a bundle removes it from the site; it does not reach back to anyone who already downloaded it.
Use at your own risk — the important bit
This is not a licence term. It applies whatever licence a bundle carries.
Button sets here are commands written by strangers, run by you, on your equipment, with your credentials. Nobody tests them against your kit. There is no warranty, from the uploader or from us, express or implied — including fitness for any purpose. Read the script on the bundle page before you download it. Try it somewhere that does not matter first. What happens on your network is yours.
How review works
- Your first upload is held for a moderator to read.
- Any upload containing steps flagged as destructive is held, regardless of who sent it.
- Once you have an approved upload and a confirmed email address, later uploads that trip nothing go live immediately.
- A new revision counts as a new upload: it is rescanned and re-checked against the same rules.
Flagged content is not banned. Reboot buttons, erase buttons and factory-reset buttons are all legitimate things to share. They are labelled clearly so nobody meets one by surprise.
What gets removed
Anything breaking the acceptable use policy: deliberately harmful content, credentials, someone else's work passed off as yours, spam. Moderators can unpublish or remove a bundle and suspend the account behind it. Every such action is recorded.
Reporting
Every bundle page has a report button. If something looks dangerous, dishonest or misplaced, use it — or email abuse@smartcomrevisited.com.
