Hiding button sets
Added in 1.2.0.
Right-click anywhere in the buttons panel. You get a tick list of every button set you have, plus Check all and Uncheck all. Untick a set and it disappears from the panel.
Nothing is deleted. The set, its buttons and their scripts are all still there, and they come back the moment you tick it again. This is a view setting, not a change to your data.
What it remembers
- The choice is kept between restarts, per machine.
- A footer reads "3 sets hidden" so the panel never lies about what you have. Click it to reopen the menu.
- Hidden sets stay hidden while you search — but the footer then also tells you how many matches are out of sight, so a search cannot quietly miss the button you were after.
Why you would want it
Mostly because of the exchange. Installing four or five shared sets is a good way to pick up other people's work, and it is also a good way to end up with a button panel a mile long, most of which is for kit you are not touching today.
Tick the two sets that match the job in front of you and the panel is short again. On a different day, tick different ones. It is much less work than curating one big set by hand, and it means downloading another set costs you nothing.
